Job Overview:
We are seeking a positive and motivated workshop assistant to join our automotive electrical team. We will provide in house support and training, including equipment installations, equipment repairs, equipment diagnostics, customer service, and general maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires basic mechanical knowledge, basic automotive electrical knowledge and some heavy lifting. (Training is provided).

A full, clean car driving licence would be beneficial, but not essential.

**Duties**:

- Perform automotive equipment installations and maintenance
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area

Qualifications:

- Previous basic experience in automotive electrical and mechanical installation
- Good mechanical knowledge, automotive DC electrical knowledge and the ability to read schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and positive manner

Note: This is a paid position.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £15,357.63-£26,892.79 per year
