**Pay rate**:

- £12.36 - £14.42_ per hour - based on Week/Weekend and or Day/Night Shifts

**Shift Pattern**: 36 hours - 18:00pm to 08:00am - Sunday to Thursday (Sleep in) Friday/Saturday - (Waking nights)

Opportunity to pick up extra shifts for annual leave/sickness.

***and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Southampton/Portsmouth area.

**Requirements**:

- ** MUST** have worked as a carer previously in the UK (Preferably atleast 6 months experience)
- Experience working closely with families of the supported (preferred)
- Experience dealing with mental health issues & safeguarding(preferred)
- UK drivers license + vehicle **MANDATORY in order to be considered for this role**

This role will be supporting an individual with a brain injury. She requires support and guidance when out in the community.

We support adults and young people who have needs attributed to Brain/Spinal injuries and or Mental Health conditions with associated complex needs.

Our goal is to empower them to integrate more within their community whilst maintaining their independence and personal choice.

We are also committed to the continuing development of all our team members, so we can empower them to lead fulfilling careers in care.

Our support workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping.

You’ll receive fully paid, on the job training and you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills whilst cultivating a trusted relationship with the person you support.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
**You’ll need to**:

- Be caring and approachable
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
- Be patient and welcoming
- Be Helpful, reliable & professional
- A fun sense of humour
- A positive outlook
- Able to prepare meals
- Potentially administer medication and Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or related topic, or be willing to study towards this
