Haven
is presently in search of a Revenue Controller to become an integral part of
Owner Accounts, Income/Banking, and Loss Prevention Teams, overseeing three
direct reports.

With
a focus on technology and process optimisation within our revenue cycle, this
role demands proactive utilisation of technology to enhance efficiency and
ensure precise revenue recognition.

This
is a full-time, permanent position based at our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead,
with an expectation of three days per week onsite and the remainder working
remotely.

**Your Opportunity**:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:

- Working with other senior finance colleagues to develop, implement and maintain revenue recognition and other policies in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as technology, marketing, legal, and finance, to understand business transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment for various revenue streams.
- Providing leadership into revenue related technology trends especially where they relate to guest or owner experiences and compliance with payment industry standards such as PCI DSS
- Identifying and assessing risks related to revenue recognition and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Effectively communicating complex revenue accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders and providing guidance on revenue-related matters.Overtime, you will drive a better understanding across Haven of revenue processes and thereby improve compliance with existing policies.
- Developing talented teams in Owners Accounts, Income and Banking and Loss Prevention & shaping these teams to support their various customers including the park teams more effectively.
- Working with the Finance Systems Manager to develop ERPX functionality for the revenue related processes.

**What we’d like you to bring**:

- Proficient in revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15) and cost accounting principles.
- Skilled in audit processes, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experienced in internal controls, financial systems, and collaborating with other departments.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Basic project management skills with hospitality sector budgeting experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and strategic financial planning.
- Certified Management Accountant (CPA/CFS or CMA) preferred.
- Effective leadership to motivate finance teams and ensure compliance with regulations.
