Payroll Supervisor

**Our Client is seeking a diligent, detail-oriented and experienced professional to support with our end-to-end payroll process for our 4 weekly and monthly paid employees.**
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the new Payroll Supervisor will support with the preparation of the payroll data supplied from across our group of care homes and homecare offices.

Pay & Hours:_**
- Salary - £32K - £35K per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours - 37 hours
- Flexible hours available.

The Role:_**
Key responsibilities will include:
- Setting the timetable and priorities for the team throughout the month.
- Monitoring progress of the payroll cycle and addressing any concerns that could impact deadlines, such as obtaining missing information or reprioritising team tasks.
- Support with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislations.
- Analyse payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies and help to resolve payroll issues.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data maintenance.
- Support with payroll validations and gross to net checks.
- Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process including undertaking manual Gross to Net calculations, validating statutory payments, 3rdparty deductions, auto-enrolment, annual leave and NI/tax deductions
- Develop the Payroll team by providing effective coaching and mentoring whilst taking responsibility for more complex payroll queries.
