**Why this role is important to us**:
This is a new role within the business, created to further grow our already thriving community on social media and develop our presence on newer channels such as Tik Tok.

As Content Creator, you’ll have significant opportunity and autonomy to champion creation of short form content for organic social media channels, create assets and graphics for our website, social media channels and more.

**Where your expertise will be focused**:
This is a pivotal new role in connecting and engaging with new and existing audiences on new and existing organic channels. You will work closely with the wider Brand & CX team to develop and execute a comprehensive creative strategy across all digital customer touchpoints with a main focus on organic social media channels.

You will be fast paced and proactive, ensuring that the content calendar is populated with fresh, new and exciting creative content that brings our brand guidelines and tone of voice to life. You’ll be collaborating with key-stakeholders, social media influencers and PR partners to create impact across all Bella & Duke channels.

Although there will be support from the in-house creative team, you will need to be able to produce and edit both video and graphic design content using the full adobe suite or alternative industry software.

You will be adept in analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

**You will be a natural creative, passionate about your work and who can bring fresh ideas to the table.**

**You’ll be as happy in front of the camera as you are behind it, be that for taking our followers on a tour of Crufts, reviewing our products or showing how to plate up the perfect meal to over 30,000 members in our facebook community or on Tik Tok live.**

**You’ll be happy travelling to various locations to capture great content, be that events across the UK, an amazing shoot location or even just your local dog park.**

**You will be a great team player, ready to support others and work with departments, at all levels.**

**You will have one to two years’ experience in social media content creation, and will be passionate about all things pets and pet wellness.**

You’ll have a deep understanding of all social platform ecosystem and what works for them: trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates, allowing you to create captivating content, including photography, video, captions, hashtags, and short form copy that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audiences.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Getting out and about to bring our content to life in new and different locations, whether that be on a photoshoot location, in the local park chatting to pet owners or travelling to a location with our expert team to capture content where it lives best
- Creating a wide variety of content types, including video, photography, and written posts mainly for our organic social media channels but also for other digital touchpoints across the business.
- Analysing social media performance and other related metrics to inform future creative and planning.
- Ensuring all content is optimised for each platform and adheres to best practices
- Managing and scheduling content efficiently, often handling multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Delivering creative and engaging content that adheres to our brand identity, audience personas and tone of voice.
- Researching and keeping on top of latest social trends, providing ideas and opportunities to grow followings.

**Qualifications & experience**
- One to two years’ proven experience in social media content creation
- Content creation that goes beyond social video, an ability for graphic design and understanding of how to use the full adobe suite and any other relevant industry software would be a benefit but not required.
- Experience in creating short form content for Tik Tok & Facebook including editing
- Happy to be in front of the camera/do voiceovers
- Fluent in social media, trends and how to capitalise on them
