**Business Apprentice - Channel Management**

**Description**

**We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Apprentice - Channel Management to join our team specializing in channel management for our Distribution Business Segment in Sandwich, Kent UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential**:
**Salary £24,600**:
**37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday (included 1 day of university/studying)**:
Hybrid role with 2 - 3 days to attend Sandwich, Kent site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Supports the periodical assessment of our partners' performance and capability.
- Updates and manages reports, trackers and dashboards, shares with relevant stakeholders.
- Learns about relevant partner management and sales systems and processes to collect data.
- Maintains an accurate list of partners as per the partner management systems and a pipeline.
- Works internally to coordinate and responds to operational inquiries from stakeholders.
- Administers access to selected systems and databases and maintains quality data on the systems.
- Assists the Channel Management team with contract administration of channel partners.
- Compiles presentations and maintains other communication platforms, such as internal websites.
- Participates in projects, developing knowledge of effective project management & general business.
- Maintains project notes, databases, and records; monitors measures and communicates status.
- Participates in continuous improvement incl. process reviews, creating/amending work instructions.
- Embraces the Company values and mission, representing and promoting Cummins.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Minimum of GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above - Universities can provide support.
- Minimum of 88 UCAS points (incl. 1 A levels) - Universities can provide support.
- Good listening and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as working on your own.
- Taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) desirable but not essential.
- Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development.
- The desire to work in a professional office environment and to start your career is essential.
- Previous work experience or voluntary work is not essential.
