Appointed person - lifting & rigging
- Main responsibilities: CPCS or NPORS trained, practical and theoretical knowledge, and experience to ensure the planning, design, and implementation of the safe system of work (SSOW).
- Undertakes an assessment of the lift and prepares and reviews lift plans. The Appointed Person has the responsibility to ensure compliance with the British & ISO Standard and the safety of crane operations.
- They will also be responsible for the coordination of all site crane activity. Requirements: CPCS, NPORS.

Safety or temporary works qualification a plus. Experience of working within large high-profile construction Projects.

The ability to coordinate multiple cranes and nationalities. Ability to adapt and overcome problems and issues as they arise. Must be able to work closely with planning, management teams to achieve the highest level of safety resulting in progress and success.
