Afternoon Cleaner

**JOB TITLE**: Cleaning Operative: Part-time, Permanent

**LOCATION**: Lliswerry High School - Newport NP19 4RP

**HOURS**:Monday to Friday - 3 hours per day - 3.30pm-6.30pm

**SALARY**:£9.50 per hour - paid fortnightly

To undertake general cleaning duties to the prescribed standards as detailed in the site specification including:

- Cleaning in accord with the specification for site
- Clean all surfaces, fixtures and fittings
- Clean floors
- Clean kitchen/catering areas
- Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas
- Clean equipment after use
- Undertake special cleaning programmes during designated periods
- Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste
- Clean and maintain waste bins
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment
- Refill and replace consumables
- Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person
- Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures
- Must be reliable with good attention to detail.

**Training**:

- Full training will be provided.
- DBS will be carried out before employment
- Cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
