**Description**:
We are recruiting for a Lead Product Governance Executive. Working with the established Product Governance team you will to lead, undertake and deliver complex and detailed analysis for all AXA Health's underwritten products to provide assurance that they continue to meet the needs and wants of the target market and deliver value and fair customer outcomes.

In this role, you'll take responsibility for creation, oversight and evolution of AXA Health's Product Governance framework ensuring it's in line with business requirements and FCA expectations throughout the Product Lifecycle.

As part of this role, you will present findings with recommendations to key governance committees, demonstrating a good understanding of regulatory expectation. Responding appropriately to any challenges and managing the resulting actions within agreed timeframes.

At AXA, we're adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office. For this role, you will work flexibly between home and our Tunbridge Wells office. We are open to negotiating part time (0.8 FTE) or full time hours.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Provide full support and consultancy to the Proposition teams to meet Product Governance requirements.
- Lead interaction with second and third line teams when they undertake reviews of Product Governance activity.
- Plan and Lead activity in the team to gather insight and analyse MI against defined customer outcomes using wide ranging data, resulting in recommendations to senior management to mitigate any customer detriment identified.
- Production of a range of customer outcome assessments including Product Oversight Reviews and Customer Outcome Testing to ensure delivery of fair customer outcomes.
- Influencing and shaping recommendations, driving forward actions with business areas to completion, ensuring that strategic plans take account of any learnings.
- Delivery of analysis of product review changes made in previous product reviews assessing for any evidence of actual or potential customer detriment.
- Advising Commercial and Marketing areas on customer outcome expectations to support strategic decisions on product benefits. Including support and consultancy to the Proposition teams to meet Product Governance requirements for new products.
- Lead quality assurance activities within the Product Management team.
- Role model behaviours including stakeholder engagement and management, interpretation of MI & customer insight. Support learning and development plan of new starters in the team.

**Qualifications**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- Numerate and analytical.
- Excellent understanding of FCA expectations in terms of customer outcomes. A good understanding of the wider regulatory environment that AXA Health operates in.
- Able to self-manage own work, work effectively across a team and drive own development.
- Good understanding of general insurance products and claims processes (experience of Health and Travel insurance products would be an advantage).
- Strong communication skills and able to influence others and drive decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to see the wider picture.
- A good understanding of insurance practice and principles.
- Ability to influence at senior level, together with excellent networking and relationship building skills.
- Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills.
- Good leadership & coaching skills.
- Strong ability to challenge, influence & drive change where appropriate.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
