Warehouse Apprentice

Our client is now looking for a Warehouse Apprentice to join their busy team in Brentford, London This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and diverse warehouse, gaining some great knowledge and insight, but also helping to improve both yourself and the business.

As a Warehouse Operative your main duties and responsibilities are to ensure all products are picked and packed in an efficient and timely manner whilst ensuring a high standard for work.

The role involves coordinating the transition of products from packing to dispatch and overseeing the quality of products to make sure they are always exceeding customer expectations.

You will be working closely with the Warehouse Manager who will guide and instruct you to understand the value of this role to the business.

**Hours of Work**: 09:00-17:00 with an hour break, divided over three breaks (15 minutes morning, 30 minutes lunch & 15 minutes in the afternoon)

**Warehouse Apprentice Duties**:

- Management of shipments in and out inclusive of weighing, measuring, packaging and labelling.
- Maintenance of the warehouse cleanliness and order.
- Inventory management - tools, stand/exhibition parts, availability, stock levels, consumables.
- Pick and palletise goods.
- Storage and disposal of waste according to regulations
- Daily contact with the Operations team plus other departments as required.
- Coordination of transport/vehicle deliveries/couriers when required
- Usage of lifting/warehouse equipment, e.g. pump truck, scales and ladders. Inclusive of conducting and recording daily checks.

Alongside these duties, you will be working towards gaining a recognised Level 2 Warehouse Operative qualification.
