IT Manager

Are you an experienced IT Manager? Do you want to have autonomy over the IT systems and implement exciting new projects?

I am working with a brilliant manufacturing SME based in Braintree, they are looking for an IT Manager to look after all areas of the IT function. They currently have 3rd party support and an in house Technical advisor, however the business is growing andthey need to find an IT Manager to help the business run as usual as well as continuously improve.

This will be a role that offers variety, you will be responsible for all elements of the IT with the support of a 3rd party function. This needs to be someone that is happy to be hands on when trouble shooting but also look at the business strategy and helpdeliver improvement projects. If you are looking to grow and utilise your skills covering Networks, Servers, Software & Data this could be the role for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with Senior Leadership to support day to day IT operations.
- Initial point of contact for all levels of service requests.
- Build relationships and negotiate agreements with 3rd party software suppliers.
- Control and monitor data, network access and back up systems.
- Manage technologies and provide administrative assistance on various systems.
- Lead and deliver extensive range of new projects.
- Software integrations, updates and fixes.

**Skills**:

- Experience working 2nd/3rd line support
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to communicate easily with non technical users
- Experience within manufacturing environment (desired)
- Experience with MRP systems, CAD and Sigma (desired)
