**SEN Teaching Assistant Required**

We are currently seeking a committed and motivated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to start ASAP in one of our client schools in Worlds End, Enfield, North London. You will be supporting pupils with additional needs in Year 2.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm), and you will work on a one to one and small group basis throughout the day to support the students with both their learning and their personal, social, emotional and mental health needs.

For around half of the day you will be in the Year 2 classroom supporting the pupils alongside the Class Teacher and the rest of the day you will be facilitating group work with those pupils who need additional support.

Experience working with those with Special Educational Needs is desirable, however not essential.

The salary range is between £85 and £95 per day.

The role is as rewarding as it is challenging. You will be fully supported by a highly skilled, friendly staff team however you will be expected to work on your own initiative at times to support the pupil in the best way you can.

- Using individualised strategies to support the student to access the curriculum
- Promoting personal, social, emotional and mental health development
- Supervising the student during non-classroom time
- Working closely with the staff team to identify any issues and develop and implement appropriate solutions
