The job of the Emergency Quadrant Ward Clerk is to support the administrative duties within our Acute Medical Assessment Unit, Surgical Assessment unit and Same Day Emergency Care Unit.

The post holder will be an essential part of the Nursing and Medical team to support high quality patient care in a fast paced environment.

The role is not a purely office based role, you will be supporting the administration across the Emergency Quadrant to where you are needed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Quadrant Ward Clerk to join the Emergency Care Directorate’s Administration Team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.

A good standard of education is required, previous experience of working in an administrative / customer service setting and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be efficient and organised with your own workload.

You will join a friendly team who provides a variety of reception and administrative duties to assist the smooth running of the Emergency Quadrant.

Previous ward clerk experience and knowledge of the Welsh Patient Administration System (WPAS) is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
