**What does the role involve?**

In this role, you'll be working within a team environment. You'll support in the delivery of a wide variety of projects within our growing Transport modelling and appraisal team and you’ll be involved in a range of activities from bidding through to client management and project delivery. The individual we are looking for will help to lead and support growth in the following core areas:

- business case advisory
- transport modelling and appraisal
- transport strategy
- securing new work

**To be successful in this role you’ll be**:
Required to work with multi-disciplinary teams across our Transportation and Urbanisation division in the UK and our teams in Europe. You will be able to demonstrate the following professional experience and personal qualities:

- Post-graduate experience in the Transport sector - essential.
- Leading and guiding the development of business case and strategy projects - essential.
- Experience working on bids for local authority projects and/or frameworks - essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and are passionate to find a quick, innovative and practical solution - essential.
- Good knowledge of transport appraisal and associated software (TUBA, COBALT, QUADRO, WITA etc) - essential.
- Good Experience in managing transport modelling projects which use strategic modelling software such as SATURN, VISUM and CUBE - essential.
- Excellent written communication skills and report writing experience - essential.
- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues and clients - essential.
- Enjoy working in a team environment, sharing knowledge and demonstrate pride in work - essential.
- Proven ability and interest in the development of innovative transport schemes - desirable.
- Good knowledge of relevant transport modelling guidance such as TAG, DMRB, PDFH - desirable.
