Hexcel is currently seeking a IT Services Assistant Apprentice for our Duxford, UK location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

- Supporting office and production staff at various sites with resolving incidents and service requests, working with the Global Service Desk based in Salt Lake City, USA
- Providing First and Second Level technical support on software and hardware
- Problem solving on a wide range of technical issues, as well as supporting Security and Network activities
- Deploying new Hardware and Software, replacing old systems
- Supporting Server and Network hardware, at a basic level
- Working with a team of IT professionals both in Europe and in the US

Qualifications:

- GCSE or equivalent x5 GCSE including Maths & English (Grade C/4) Essential
- A Level or equivalent IT (Grade Any) Desired

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- ICT Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Remote delivery
- 18 month duration with 15 months of the learning period and 3 months end point assessment
- Level 2 Maths and English functional skills if required
