CNC Machinists

Blue Arrow is proud to be working with a top manufacturer in leek that see's its products used in the production of wind turbines, the nuclear and defence sector, general engineering and oil and gas industries.

**Daily duties involve**:

- Working as a part of a team or by yourself setting and operating horizontal CNC machining centres
- Working mainly with ferrous but also some non-ferrous metals, working to high precision tolerances
- Using Fanuc and Heidenhain Controls
- Using precision measuring equipment
- Making and altering fixtures and jigs

As a company who provides bespoke solutions to a world class customer base, you must be forward thinking and have a positive approach to setting, fixing and machining. The successful applicant should also be confident in making suggestions for improvements where appropriate or decreasing machining time. You should be able to follow instructions and work unsupervised, and be able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Hours: Days and Night shifts available

Day shift: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Fridays 7:30am - 4pm.

Night shift: Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am.

**Salary**: £11-£17 per hour depending on experience and shift choice.
