We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The post is based with Clyde sector of GG&C in both Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH) and the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) with elective sessions in both sites. The on call commitment will be in IRH The Anaesthetic Department based at the RAH provide elective anaesthesia at the Vale of Leven, Inverclyde Royal Hospital and elective and emergency anaesthesia/intensive care at the RAH. The Anaesthetic department in IRH provide elective anaesthesia and critical care stabilisation of patients for transfer off-site. This is supported by the RAH Intensive Care team.
