Trainee Hairdresser

Our salon is hiring between 2 and 4 Hair Stylists to help provide customers with well-maintained tresses. Responsibilities for the Hair Stylist include washing, drying and cutting hair for our clientele on a daily basis, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. Experience and an eye for detail are essential requirements for this position, as is the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the mechanics of hair.
- Be knowledgeable about hair products and hair techniques.
- Be able to work with customers to determine the proper style for their type of hair and their desired look.
- Communicate with customers about their comfort and hair care needs.
- Work as part of a team with other stylists, barbers, and beauty salon workers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £25,901.00-£28,595.00 per year

**Experience**:

- stylist: 1 year (preferred)
- Hairdressing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
