Night Concierge (Part-Time)
- Rustington, West Sussex

- For some ex-service people, this is their reality. Suddenly their whole way of life is changed, even walking to the shops becomes a huge task.
- Fortunately, Blind Veterans are here to help rebuild their lives. But they can’t do it alone.
- This is where you come in.
- You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with anyone in a professional and courteous manner. You’ll ensure our new Rustington facility is safe and secure during the night time, supporting residents during their stay and ensuring peace of mind for everyone.
- You’ll work alongside the Booking & Admin Co-ordinator to ensure the safe, efficient and smooth running of the Rustington Centre of Wellbeing. You’ll ensure the delivery of a consistently high-quality customer experience for our members, other visitors and customers.
- You’ll act as a key point of contact, ensuring the safety of the building, and you’ll be working with all our safety and security systems, including patrols of the property. You’ll also support a range of administrative tasks, including updating the HR information system, handling mail and deliveries and liaising with other departments.
- Your customer care skills will be second-to-none and you’ll possess an excellent telephone manner coupled with a self-starting attitude and a proactive focus on problem solving.
- You’ll have knowledge of Health & Safety, be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths and have a decent level of IT literacy, especially with Microsoft Office programmes, database systems and intranet.
- We are recruiting for a part time Night Concierge for 19 hours per week. This is a shift-based role that will include evenings and weekends.
