An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Force Archive Team in which you will provide a daily Operative service to the various internal / external customers.

As part of the main team you will support the repository within force for all crime associated paper records including the current outsourcing contract and level 2 account holders within force.

You will focus on providing a quality of service to all customers thus contributing towards public trust & confidence in the police service.

You will have an understanding of MoPI (Management of Police Information), Home Office crime recording with regards to category offences, The Data Protection Act 2018, taking personal responsibility for your workload with a problem solving approach and paying attention to detail, which is a key part of this role.

You will demonstrate excellent computer skills especially in regards to Microsoft Word/Excel and transferable skills with IT to navigate through Niche the forces RMS solution and following training will navigate within the outsourcing contract platform.

You will contribute towards the wider property & archive team in respect of urgent resilience matters.

You will take personal responsibility for adherence to the expected standards of professional behaviour and ensure the security and integrity of paper records within the main store are maintained.

You will support the mentoring of new team members and provide feedback to supervision as required.
