The resident Deputy Head Pastoral’s primary role is to lead and manage the pastoral teams to provide a positive, secure and happy environment for the boarding and day communities where each student can thrive and flourish. The Deputy Head Pastoral is a member of the Leadership Team as well as the wider SMT where they are instrumental in both the strategic development and the smooth-running of the school. The Deputy Head Pastoral is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Safeguarding and Child Protection.
