**Kitchen Porter - The Shireburn Arms**

Standing in the middle of the pretty Ribble Valley village in Hurst Green, the Shireburn Arms has played host to many tired, hungry and thirsty travellers over its 300 year history.

Full of charm and character and blessed with fabulous views over the Ribble Valley, it’s not hard to see why. The Shireburn Arms is the perfect base for exploring and enjoying glorious countryside and abundant local history.

We're seeking Kitchen Porters to become integral members of our team. In this role, you'll contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring it's primed for service.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining pristine cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation zones
- Washing and storing utensils and dishes with care
- Thoroughly cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, and other designated areas
- Disposing of waste efficiently
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks

This position demands strong teamwork and communication skills, as our kitchen operates in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for individuals who embody the following qualities:

- Excellent communication abilities
- Comprehends the significance of health and hygiene standards

**What We Offer**:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions spanning Monday through Sunday. Compensation is set at the National Minimum Wage. Additionally, employees enjoy benefits including 28 days of holiday entitlement, meals during shifts, and access to a staff discount card.
