This is a GREAT chance to join an established manufacturing based in the Skelmersdale area as a Project Buyer looking after New Product Introduction

**What will the role involve?**
- Coordinating projects relating to new product introduction
- Balancing time, cost and quality aspects of each NPI project
- Sourcing components from a global supplier base
- Negotiating prices and contractual agreements with suppliers and managing supplier performance
- Planning project timescales to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
- Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and cross functional teams

**What experience will you ideally bring?**
- Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience in project coordination, or exposure to project management principles
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, such as working wth international suppliers or customers
- CIPS qualification (or willingness to work towards)
