Technical Instructor

Beckett Place is a Stepdown Rehabilitation Unit, providing mental health rehabilitation for female patients with complex needs. We are an 10 bedded unit which is part of the Rehabilitation and High Support Hub, based at Tameside general hospital site, in Buxton building.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, full time at 37.5 hrs per week, working in an In-patient stepdown rehabilitation setting.This role will involve working with individuals who have serious mental health conditions. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapists to meet patient orientated goals and support progression through a recovery pathway.

We support patients to build on their strengths, remain positive about their lives and provide support to transition from an inpatient environment to the community.
