Video Editor

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Edit video content to align with brand guidelines and project requirements
- Have the skills needed to use all of the necessary editing tools
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts
- Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects into videos
- Ensure all edited videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Collaborate with colleagues to maximise the revenue and profit to the business

**Experience**:

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of video production processes
- Knowledge of photography and visual storytelling techniques
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Proven work experience as a video editor with a portfolio
- Skills in special effects and comedic timing in editing
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- To use analytical tools (Google, YouTube Analytics, sales data, etc), in-house reports, and communication with the team to make data-led decisions.
- To identify your own skill gaps and identify a pathway to close any gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all videos needing to be edited, shows needing to be cut down, sketches & occasional social media content editing.
- All edits will need to be in a range of formats for various social media platforms & websites; requiring a multimedia approach with data-led mindset, and intimate understanding of the industry.
- To create, commission and edit content to a publication-ready state to the standards expected by your audience on that particular platform, which could be all or any of the following
- Video and livestream
- Digital magazines
- Social media
- Website
- Podcasts
- Future platforms as yet unknown
