**About Stock Sweepers**

Stock Sweepers Ltd is a leading UK manufacturer of truck mounted Road Sweepers.

A true family-run group of businesses, Stock Group (which includes Stock Sweepers, Stock Excavators, Stock Re-Manufacturing & Stock Rentals) employs a total of 85 people, with 65 manufacturing staff including 17 welder fabricators. It also has its own shot-blasting, powder-coating and wet painting facilities at its site in Cinderford, near Gloucester.

The Group has been manufacturing new sweepers since 2009.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

**What will the right person look like?**

The ideal applicant will have experience within the HGV/Plant industry and show a willing attitude to learn new skills. They will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is pro-active, takes pride in their work and is able to work on their own initiative, who has a passion for delivering excellent service and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

**Requirements/Skills**
- Diagnostic & fitting experience with commercial or plant vehicles. Full training of road sweeping equipment will be provided.
- Hydraulic knowledge required.
- Experience working on commercial vehicle electrics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Own hand tools required (diagnostic/battery tools etc supplied by the company).
- Full & clean UK driving licence.
- HGV class 2 licence preferred but not essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Planned servicing.
- Attending customer breakdowns.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Conducting repairs to a high standard.
- Complete service paperwork.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies.

**What will you be doing?**

For the most part, you will be attending to customer breakdowns offsite & carrying out planned services.

You will be in a changing work environment, with new challenges each day.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:30

**Pay**:

- Salary up to £40,000.00
- Overtime available

20 + bank holidays.

**Experience**:

- Mechanic: 2 years (preferred)
