Pro Global is supporting our client to source skilled and experienced Industrial Furniture Upholsterers to join our team. As an Industrial Furniture Upholster, you will be responsible for transforming raw furniture pieces into beautifully upholstered works of art. Your expertise in upholstery techniques and attention to detail will play a critical role in creating high-quality, durable, and visually appealing furniture pieces that meet the needs and specifications of our clients.

Tasks
- Upholster industrial furniture pieces, including chairs, sofas, benches, and ottomans, using a variety of materials, fabrics, and tools.
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather according to design specifications and patterns.
- Stretch and attach upholstery materials to furniture frames, ensuring a smooth and wrinkle-free finish.
- Install springs, padding, and cushions to provide comfort and support.
- Inspect and repair damaged or worn-out upholstery materials, including springs, padding, and fabrics.
- Collaborate with designers, upholsterers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets client expectations and design requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and organization of upholstery materials, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new upholstery techniques, and materials to enhance skills and provide innovative solutions to clients.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Industrial Furniture Upholster or similar role.
- Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including fabric cutting, sewing, and stretching.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of upholstery materials, fabrics, and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and patterns.
- Familiarity with industrial furniture construction and assembly.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines and work efficiently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Creative mindset and ability to provide design suggestions and recommendations to clients.
