**What does a Masterdata Assistant do at Collinson?**

**Key responsibilities**
- Being responsible for the overall quality and integrity of business-critical master data as a shared asset, to maintain it as a trusted source of data for re-use across the business.
- You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data in line with business rules, policy, data standards and data management approaches; this could include new chart of accounts codes, new finance dimension elements, new project code set up, customer and supplier set up, admin rights on our bank accounts in use and other master data elements.
- You will be a point of escalation for data consumers to manager requests from the business or new records to be created and to update existing records where necessary.
- You will collate business requests to support the change activities in the system for control review purposes.
- You will ensure that all business service level agreements relating to master data are adhered to and where this is not possible, that expectations are positively managed with stakeholders.
- You will perform regular master data random audits to ensure validity of data.
- You will perform control checks as and when requested by the internal audit/controls team.
- You will run regular master data update reports to underpin good control processes.
- You will support continuous improvements in ways of working for the team and suggest improvements to business and data processes.

- Attend regular team meetings.
- Support other team members with tasks and knowledge, as required.
- Build collaborative working relationships with other teams.
- Ensure any risks and issues are communicated timely to your manager.

**Knowledge and Skills required**
- Highly organised individual, able to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver to service levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics accounting systems preferable.
- High personal levels of motivation and delivery orientated focus.
- Ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally.
