**Vacancy: Catering Assistant**

**Permanent, 12.5 hours per week**

**Grade 2 SCP FTE £20,812 (pay award pending)**

**Actual Annual Salary £5,913 - £6,047 (pay award pending)**

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are looking to appoint an experienced catering assistant to join our catering team and help with the preparation and service of food and the cleaning of premises and equipment.

You will need to be;
- To be physically fit
- To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance
- Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job task
- Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.
- Team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour

**Experience**:
Catering experience and knowledge of working in a school or education setting and food hygiene would be desirable but is not essential, as full training will be given

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment.
