**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Promote the physical, emotional, and educational development of the children
- Encourage positive relationships and support children’s connections with their birth families
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child
- Maintain accurate records and report on the progress and well-being of children
**Requirements**:
- Genuine passion for improving the lives of children
- Ability to create a warm, caring, and stable environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different age groups and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilience and the ability to manage changing situations
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting
