We are looking for a pro-active, motivated individual to join the School Aged Immunisation Service as Immunisation Team Administrator focusing on increasing the uptake of immunisations amongst children in Reception to Year 11.

We are looking for an adaptable, flexible person with excellent administration and communication skills who will enjoy working in a challenging and busy environment. Experience of working with children and young people is desirable.

This role will include a significant amount of work with spreadsheets and dashboards (MS Power BI) to identify children who remain unimmunised and provide advice, information and support to parent/carers to enable them to make an informed decision regarding the vaccination of their child. You will be required to identify areas of low uptake and proactively make contact with parent/carers to discuss immunisations and attend Health Promotion events at schools or in the community with other members of the team when necessary. You may also be required to develop health promotion materials so prior use of IT software to enable materials to be produced would be an advantage eg Publisher.
