HiTea is looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor to join its small and friendly team. The site opens 7 days a week, serving beverages, waffle, crepe and dessert.

We are looking for a Supervisor with experience in both retail and hospitality. It need oversee the shop running, following cashing up, opening and closing procedures and managing the team when the Shop Manager or Assistant Manager is not on site.

Role Responsibility
- Taking responsibility for the cash float and cashing up at the end of the shift
- Carrying out temperature checks on all refrigerator equipment
- Ensuring stock levels and product pricings are correct
- Carry out staff briefings pre-service
- Undertaking visual Health & Safety checks and ensure all accidents are recorded and reported
- Oversee the running of the café
- Ensure designated rooms are set up correctly for functions

Essential:

- Experience in a supervisory role
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in hospitality industry

Desirable:

- A background in the catering industry
- Basic knowledge of food Health & Safety

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
