Aftercare Worker
Contract: Permanent - Term Time Only
Monday to Friday 3.30 - 6.00pm - 12.5 hours per week

**Salary**: Grade 3 - Actual salary £5,025 to £5,560 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
The Aftercare worker will supervise children who remain behind in the Prep school after school has finished until they are collected by parents (no later than 6:00pm).
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Supervisor in maintaining a register of pupils so that an accurate record of which students are present is always available. This includes signing out pupils when they leave.
- Maintain good order and behaviour of pupils so that a productive working environment is achieved for those pupils wishing to complete homework.
- Along with the supervisor, supervise pupils on the playground from end of day until 4:00pm when the clubs start
- Support pupils to complete their homework
- Aid pupils to gather and look after their belongings
- Arrange activities for the pupils when Homework is complete, this could be outside or inside depending on the weather.
- Undertaking any other reasonable task as instructed by members of the Senior Leadership Team of the School.

- Ability to maintain productive relationships with children
- The ability to work on his/her own initiative and also as part of a team
- Self-motivated and good time management skills
- Excellent organisational skills, discretion, confident
