**Summery**:
As a Park Warden, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient performance of the park warden service. Your responsibilities will include enforcing by-laws, dog control orders, and litter codes while maintaining the overall safety and cleanliness of our local parks. You will engage with stakeholders, conduct guided tours, and work closely with law enforcement agencies to protect council properties.

**Your Duties**:

- Enforce council by-laws, dog control orders, and litter codes.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and address issues related to anti-social behaviour.
- Investigate complaints and gather evidence in accordance with Council policy.
- Issue warning notices and fixed penalties as appropriate.
- Maintain park facilities, including buildings, playgrounds, and open spaces.
- Carry out routine inspections and report any faults or issues.
- Assist in training and mentoring team members, volunteers, and placements.
- Maintain records and complete paperwork in connection with incidents and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Engage with community groups and individuals to provide support and information about park usage.
- Participate in guided tours, walks, and talks within the parks.
- Provide first aid when required and assist in emergency situations.

**Your Profile**:
**Essential Criteria**:

- Full, current driving license valid in Northern Ireland or access to reliable transportation.
- At least one year of relevant experience in:

- Dealing effectively with the public in face-to-face environments.
- Working within a security role, including patrols and incident reporting.
- Working in an enforcement or legislative role, such as dog control or litter enforcement.

**Special Skills and Attributes**:

- Strong customer care and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient written communication skills for report writing.
- Effective oral communication with the public and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
- Basic analysis and decision-making skills.
