**About the Company**

Our Client brings together two big legacy names in the commercial glazing sector under one banner to create a true leader in the industry. Working within Cat A and Cat B fit-out on a nationwide scale, across public, private and flagship commercial spaces.

This Company have a group financial turnover circa £80m, specialising in Design, Manufacturing and Installation of bespoke glazing systems such as: Glass Floors, Balustrades, Roofs, Canopies, Partitioning and Curtain Walling and have regional offices given them coverage to work nationwide, for a variety of long standing clients

**About the Opportunity**

Due to huge market demand and company expansion plans, our Client is in the market for Technical professionals ranging from Design Manager, Design Coordinators and Glazing Designers, for their West Sussex office.
- Responsible for the production and management of design and technical documentation on projects from start to final account
- Use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for a range of products and components (2D and 3D).
- Ability in BIM modelling would be an Advantage but not essential.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To be able to work independently and manage timescales against project programmes to achieve deadlines.
- To use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for the project.
- To ensure buildability, safety and access are considered when producing designs.
- To liaise with internal and external departments to ensure client requirements are fully understood and compliant.
- To ensure all plans and drawings are in line with the specification, acoustic and fire requirements and with the contract documents.
- To ensure all design programmes and plans meet contract manufacturing requirements.
- To complete drawing registers, deliverables and programmes throughout the project.
- To attend design meetings with the client, design team and architect.
- To liaise with engineers, suppliers and produce fabrication drawings.
- To liaise with the site installation team.
- Excellent knowledge of design software.
- Ability to convert verbal and written information into 2D and 3D drawings with accuracy and

**Due to the nature and variability of architectural glazing a construction background is key, curtain walling and facades experience would be an advantage.**

**Salary / Package**

**Design Manager - £55k to £75k**

**Senior Designers - £40k to £50k**

**CAD Designers £30k to £35k**

**Packages to be discussed**

9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday (with a one hour lunch break each day).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
