HR Advisor

Great opportunity to join a Not-for-Profit organisation in Manchester
- Part-time position (29 hours), Remote working

- Provide comprehensive HR support to the team.
- Dealing with complex cases, such as disciplinary grievances and appeals.
- Dealing with disputes appropriately (for example, mediation or tribunal cases).
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and staff.
- Policy writing.
- Managing long-term sick and absences.
- Manage HR projects and initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments.
- Support in talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Ensuring managers are upskilled to deal with people in a fair and effective manner
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful 'HR Advisor' should have:

- A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit and charities sector.
- A demonstrable ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
