**Licensed Asbestos Removal Worker**

**Location**: Finchley, London

**Role Overview**:
As a Licensed Asbestos Removal Worker, you will be responsible for the safe and effective removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials from various sites. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials according to regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare work areas by setting up appropriate containment and decontamination zones.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to remove asbestos materials while minimizing the release of fibres.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, including the Control of Asbestos Regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and materials removed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project objectives are met.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Licensed Asbestos Removal Ticket.**:

- **Completed asbestos medical examination.**:

- **Fitted face mask certification.**:

- Previous experience in asbestos removal and handling hazardous materials.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices related to asbestos removal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks in a demanding environment.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Scaffolding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
