School Minibus Chaperone

Lochinver House School is a preparatory day school for boys. We are recruiting for a Chaperone to support one of our Minibus Drivers to work Monday to Friday 6'55am to 8'25am term time only - 1.5hrs per day.

**Job Role**
- Arrive and meet your designated driver at the school 6’55am.
- Responsible for the school issued mobile phone for text messages or calls from your designated route parents - keeping your driver updated.
- Registers pupils on the designated bus route.
- Warmly welcome the pupils into the bus helping them safely into their seats especially if they have sports bags, music equipment, etc.
- Ensure every pupil is wearing their seatbelt.
- Sit at the rear of the bus which provides you a clear view forward through the bus and support the pupils as required. The pupils travelling on the bus vary in age so encourage a calm atmosphere throughout the journey to School.
- Be vigilant and mindful of any pastoral issues and keep relevant members of staff informed
- Once the pupils arrive at school, take the pupils to Morning Club.

**Essential requirements**
- Must be aged 18 or above.
- Applicants will undergo and need to pass enhanced DBS checks.

- Willing to undertake relevant training as appropriate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 7.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.75-£11.00 per hour
