Our client, a truly innovative brand, are looking to recruit a talented and highly driven Head of Finance role. This is a high-profile role, with overall accountability for all finance matters relating to this business unit. This role will shape a clear strategic vision for finance to pre-empt the challenges that growth in this area will bring and put in place a high performing team to deliver a service to the internal stakeholders. This role will be playing a critical role as the finance business partner to the executive team.

Reporting to the Managing Director of this division, the Head of Finance is responsible for all aspects of finance within the business unit and will be part of the executive team. This role will collaborate with other finance peers in the business to form a finance leadership team with the aim of developing and growing the wider business unit.

Key Accountabilities
- Leadership of the finance team - supporting and developing a diverse team to be high performing, including the Accounting & Transactional team.
- Provide and execute a strategic vision, which supports and enables the growth of the division, working with internal stakeholders to get alignment and feedback.
- Ownership of the monthly reporting requirements, including P&L and KPI reporting, preparing forecasts and investigation of budget vs actual variations.
- Responsible for co-ordinating the annual budgeting and re-forecasting process.
- Practice continuous improvement and deliver requires changes to business processes.
- Influence the IT roadmap, in particular be a key influencer to the new ERP to ensure it meets the needs of the team and take responsibility for showcasing and delivering the benefits to the operational stakeholders.
- Accountable for creating robust and effective internal controls insofar as they relate to finance and managing key financial risks.
- Oversee the audit process and taking responsibility for the statutory financial reporting requirements and other subsidiaries.
- Project management and various ad-hoc duties.
- Oversee the management accounting for the business unit, holding budget holders accountable and fairly allocating costs.
