**Verger for Lichfield Cathedral**

Lichfield Cathedral is looking to appoint a Verger to join the friendly and hardworking Cathedral team.

Would you like to work in a role where your practical, physical and spiritual skills/gifts can all be used?

The role of verger is one of many parts and includes being involved in worship together with the day to day care of the buildings and grounds, stage building and chair moving.

**Full time**: 42 hours per week worked over 5 days to include evenings and regular weekend working on a rota basis

**Holidays**: 32 days per annum including Bank Holidays

**Start date**: 1 March 2023 or earlier if possible

**Closing date**: Sunday 8 January 2023

**Interviews**: Wednesday 18 January 2023

**Salary**: £24,400 p.a. (pay award pending)

This role involves being on-call on a rota basis and so proximity to the Cathedral and the ease with which you can return to The Close must be a consideration.
