Do you want to be part of a service that puts emotional wellbeing at its core?
We are working with a client which uses a therapeutic approach to assist with children and young people's recovery. They promote positive relationships with both staff and peers and are based in the Pembrokeshire area.
Your new role
You will be a Registered Manager working at one of a number of residential homes in the Pembrokeshire area, supported by a Deputy Manager and three Senior Support workers as well as several other support staff. Your role is to provide a strong foundation forthe children & young people, and you will have a highly experienced Senior Management Team to assist you with managing a successful service.
The provider focus on creating a positive, stable and ultimately trustworthy atmosphere both for staff and for the children & young people. They aim to understand the behaviour of the children & young people, helping them recover and develop.
What you'll need to succeed
- QCF Level 5 Children & Young Peoples (or Level 3 in Children's or adults and willingness to work toward)
- Demonstratable experience leading teams in a social care setting
- A people first leader
- Experience in a Children's residential setting (preferred)
- Experience with complex and/or challenging behaviour (advantageous)
- A desire to learn and develop new approaches to helping children & young people
