As our Employee Relations Manager, you will be a commercially astute ER professional who is able to advise on complex cases as well as develop our ER approach and strategy to ensure we live our values of teamwork, trust, care and courage - supporting aninclusive culture where everyone can be themselves.

Joining our ER People team (part of our People Centre), there will be a high level of focus on strategic projects to increase line manager capability - including performance management capability and early resolution to workplace conflict issues. Ideally,you will have strong experience of managing different types of risk, building policies and toolkits, bringing creative and effective ideas and solutions to the organisation as well as managing senior stakeholders.

In order to succeed as our Employee Relations Manager, you will ideally possess:

- Knowledge of HR Operations or HR shared services environments, including a solid understanding of HR systems and processes.
- A solid understanding of UK Employment legislation and company policies, and able to assess and manage the organisational impact of changes in employment law.
- Solid ER judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
- Extensive experience working with legacy procedure agreements including trade union recognition terms and conditions
- Solid business and commercial acumen through the design and implementation of people focussed solutions to achieve business goals
- Understanding/tangible experience of leading ER related transformation projects that deliver value to the business
- A good understanding of organisational culture and behaviour, and the key levers to influence this
- Ability to build strong relationships whilst also demonstrating the courage and resilience to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- A growth mind-set personally, is curious and inquisitive and always willing to learn.
- Knowledge of using HR analytics to create value and offer insight that inspires action.
