**Job description**

Crafted Boats is a well-established, specialist steel boat building and repair company. Our team specialize in the manufacturing, repair, and painting of a variety of bespoke steel canal boats.

**The role**

We are seeking to employ CNC operator to join our busy steel boat building team to help with the growth of the business. This role may require the person to access boats via steps, ladders, and platforms in a workshop, dry-dock or afloat. The company will provide training for a suitable person to allow them to develop skills in the marine industry.

**Key Skills**:

- Some previous experience with an CNC Plasma profiler
- Some previous experience with an CNC Press break
- Some previous experience with operating forklift
- Some Mig welding experience.
- Understanding of engineering procedures and processes
- A positive attitude with an eye for detail and quality
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.

**Working hours**
- 37.5 hours a week
- Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30
- Friday 8:00-13:30

The applicant should be reliable, practical, have CNC knowledge and be prepared to develop their skills and abilities in all aspects of boat building operations; welding, fabricating, cutting, measuring and finishing to an accurate and high standard.

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
