Production Planner

My highly prestigious client based in Kendal, are currently recruiting for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain a series of project schedules from sales enquiry through to client project acceptance.
- Integrate the project schedules into the Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Design and Production planning process to ensure all resource allocations are understood and kept updated on a weekly basis.
- Integration of available resources into the schedule program across all disciplines reporting on potential equipment / personnel resource bottlenecks.
- Highlight in a timely fashion any corrective actions required to maintain project schedule & develop a mitigation plan if / when projects run behind baseline schedule.
**The experience that we're looking for**
- Experience in a similar planning/scheduling role
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business or similar
- Possess excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be preferable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
