**About the opportunity**:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield’s 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.

For our team at Sellafield site we are seeking a Completions Technical Assistant.

**Some of your duties will be**:

- Ensuring that any completions support activities are carried out in accordance with all Site Licence, environmental and industrial requirements.
- Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm;
- Collating relevant information for Safety Transfer Certificate (STC), Custody Transfer Certificate (CTC) and Ready for Operations (RFO) handover dossiers.
- Assisting the Completions Manager & Completions Team Leader with the Fault Observation (FOB) system and progress tracking/reporting of FOB resolution.
- Assisting the Completions Manager & Completions Team Leader with the Temporary Commissioning Aids (TCAs) / Temporary Software Modifications (TSM)) and progress tracking/reporting of TCA / TSM resolution.
- Assisting the Completions Manager & Completions Team Leader with update of scheduled handover dates from the project P6 system
- Assist the Completions Manager & Completions Team Leader with the data inputting of Punch Items into the Go Completions database and overall management of the project punch list including raising and reporting.
- Timely control of all incoming / outgoing documentation including its distribution, storage and backup (hard and electronic copies).
- Assist with administration of GoCompletions system including new user accounts, user groups and ongoing maintenance activities
- Assist Completions Team & Engineers as required

**Here’s what you’ll need**:

- Experience of accurate electronic and paper document handling and clerical duties involving commercially protected or sensitive material.
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Word; including formatting of headings, styles, document layout, inserting of tables and graphics and production of templates.
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel; including formulas and data manipulation
- Ability to work in a cohesive team and deliver high quality technical documents to a tight programme, remaining flexible to demands of work and colleagues.
- Experience of working within project teams in Construction, Engineering or Commissioning
