An excellent opportunity for you to join our ICG Global Market Data Hub group as a Lead Business Analyst, to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic team that develop and maintain critical solutions for Cross Asset(s) and Markets group

You will be leading the requirements gathering work to assess the current state, identify improvement opportunity and contribute to the design of the future state solution through evidence based research and analysis. As part of the scrum team, you will be involved throughout the SDLC and be the conduit between the business and the scrum team, particularly during the user testing and transition stages.

**As a Lead Business Analyst, you will**:

- Work closely with business and technical SMEs to define and document requirements
- Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed functional specifications
- Work collaboratively as part of the scrum team, to identify and deliver the solutions
- Support the business to transition to the new solutions including training and change management
- Support the Product Owner in prioritization, shaping the roadmap and developing junior members of the team.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Minimum 7-8 years of business analyst experience role, preferably in an asset finance/investment banking organisation
- Proven experience in leading a new implementation
- An enquiring mind, and the ability to challenge the status quo
- Strong communicator who can translate concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels effectively
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate needs to business outcomes
- Prior experience in Quant and Risk related projects
- Vendor management to procure/consume new Market Data from internal / External sources

**Key Responsibilities**
- Be actively involved in the full data lifecycle including gathering business requirements, designing, testing and maintaining the reports
- Perform data cleansing activities and initiate reports based on understanding the objectives
- Application testing and the impacted data, this will be manual testing and will involve exploratory testing
- Collaborate closely with the team contributing to the solutioning
- Work closely with the management team, peers and other teams

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience as Business Data Analyst, ideally 5 years or more
- Manual testing experience or understanding of release lifecycles
- MS Power BI,/Tableau & strong Python skills
- Proficiency in Agile Management tools like Jira
- Familiar with Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Elicit business requirements, interpretating Business Requirement from document

**Remote Working / Office Presence**:
This hire would need to be in the office when required, this will be at River House, near the City center. The hire will need to be prepared at stages to come into the office 3 days per week requested by the client.
