Our pharmacy homecare team is a small but busy team within the pharmacy Department. We look after approximately 7500 patients on homecare and cover a wide range of specialities: Paediatric, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Renal, Respiratory, Oncology and Haematology.

We work directly with diabetes patients and their parents to ensure all their necessary items are ordered and we work closely with all the specialist teams and numerous external homecare companies to ensure that our patients receive their medication in a safe and timely manner.

This service means that many patients do not have to wait for their prescriptions and can have them delivered to an address at a time that suits them. This allows them to maintain their normal lives as much as possible.
