Our client - a successful niche business based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their small team on a part-time permanent basis.

Key duties include:

- Prepare & issue company sales summary, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow,
- Accurate quarterly reporting, and preparing annual budgets with the Board,
- Prepare & issue management accounts, conforming to statutory requirements,
- Maintain & balance all books of account, manage cash effectively, and ensure the security of company information at all times,
- Purchase ledger and oversee supplier base management,
- Sales ledger and cash collection,
- Manage the credit control function, advise on customer / supplier creditworthiness as required,
- Control expenditure as appropriate to achieve budgeted figures,
- Manage employee salary scheme / NI, pension scheme and contributions,
- Compile, complete and submit PAYE reports in an accurate, timely fashion
- VAT reporting,
- Prepare and complete company annual statutory reports, submit to Companies
- House,
- Manage annual insurance policies,
- Audit and summarise employee expense claims accurately,
- Oversee management / control of supplier charges and purchasing on an ongoing basis ensuring that agreements with suppliers are confirmed in writing,
- Prepare project reconciliations on complete projects, identifying areas of weakness and scope for improvement,
- Oversee and check estimates on costing sheets and quotes to customers, ensuring that these are both competitive and meet Company goals in margin terms as appropriate,
- Manage IT system.

**The Right Person**
- Part or fully-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or demonstrable QBE,
- A high degree of competence in the analysis and production of numbers,
- An ability to produce accurate and informative data,
- Willingness to analyse Company performance and suggest improvement consistently,
- Maintain a professional image and high standards at all times,
- Communicate internally and externally both clearly and consistently,
- Believe totally in the principle of delivering excellence in customer service standards,
- Strong IT skills incl. Sage. Experience with Xero preferred.
