Here at GXO, we’re looking for a **full-time, permanent** **Catering Assistant** to join our team in **Leyland**. You will be working 37.5 hours per week; hours will vary therefore flexibility is essential This role will require you to work three weeks rolling shift pattern:
Week 1 - Monday to Friday

Week 2 - Monday to Thursday and Saturday

Week 3 - Sunday and Tuesday to Friday

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll receive:

- An hourly rate of **£10.42 **on days and **£10.74 **on lates

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Support with all food preparation activities
- Play a pivotal part in ensuring that all health & safety standards are followed
- Replenish any counters
- Ensure all hygiene tasks are completed to a high standard

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role
- An understanding of food safety standards (HACCAP)
- Flexible in your approach - there may be an opportunity for overtime
- Excellent customer service skills
