Main purpose of the job: To support the provision of a high quality, efficient and customer focused ICT service across the Trust.

Working week

Monday to Friday term time only

Hours to be confirmed

37 hours per week total

Key duties and responsibilities:
Full training and guidance on the below will be provided by the school:

- Install, setup and maintain Computer hardware, clients, Laptops, AV equipment and peripherals.
- Firstline Technical Support, troubleshooting and re-imaging devices.
- Maintain an up-to-date Inventory of ICT equipment using internal Asset Management system, and ensure equipment is tagged and recorded.
- Assist with the expansion of the network infrastructure including switches, cabling and wireless network equipment.
- Routine administration including, data backup, active directory, group policy, and Office 365.
- Software deployment, installation, maintenance and upgrading in line with the development policy.
- To keep abreast of technological developments and encourage the use of ICT at all levels, in particular Office 365.
- Participate in Online training to completion when required.
- To support staff and students with the set-up and preparation of ICT equipment.
- Maintain stocks of spare parts and consumable items.
- Oversight of bookings of ICT equipment.

Qualifications and training
- A good level of formal education including GCSE Maths and English (Level 2)
- NVQ Level 2 or A-Level qualifications
- A strong interest and/or qualifications in ICT

Experience, knowledge and skills
- Understanding of working with computers and hardware
- Experience of customer service would be beneficial
- Experience of Microsoft Applications, computer repair and testing an advantage
- Ability to approach problems positively and seek solutions
- Ability to work effectively within the team environment.
- To be sensitive to confidentiality issues
